The End of the Quarter Party for International Students!

The International Programs at Cascadia hosted the end of the quarter party on March 19th

and celebrated for scholarship winners, college graduates and ELP (English Language

Programs) level 6 graduates.

장학금 수여식이 개최되었답니다.

Microsoft and Boehm's Chocolate Factory Visit (3/7/2014)

As part of our winter activities, we hosted a tour of Microsoft and Boehm's chocolate factory.

In the campus of Microsoft, the students explored the vision, culture and history of Microsoft.

The students also had the opportunity to try out Microsoft's products and had a really great

time with them.

마이크로소프트社 와 Boehm’s 초코렛社 방문 (2014년 3월 7일)

겨울 학기 교외 액티비티로 학생들은 마이크로소프트社 Boehm’s초콜릿社 견학 행사가 있었습니

다. 학생들은 마이크로소프트社 방문을 통해 마이크로소프트社의 비전, 문화와 역사에 대해 살펴보고 마이크로소프트社의 제품을 직접 시험 사용해 보는 등, 마이크로소프트社 실무자들과의 즐거운 시간을 보냈습니다.

Next, we moved to the Boehm's chocolate factory, where we explored the art of handmade

chocolate making and learned the history of Boehm's chocolate factory. Students enjoyed it

and are looking forward to the spring activities that the International Programs are preparing.

다음으로 학생들은 Boehm’s 초콜렛社를 방문하여 핸드메이드 초코렛의 공정 과정을 직접 살펴보

고 Boehm’s社 역사를 알 수 있는 흥미로운 기회 가졌답니다. 학생들은 다음 봄학기의 흥미로운 액

티비티 참여를 기대하고 있습니다.

New Student Orientation: Spring Quarter (3/24-3/27)

We welcome all the new international students who came to Cascadia Community College for

the spring quarter. We had about 25 students and they are from China, Korea, Japan,

Indonesia, Columbia, India, Saudi Arabia, and Vietnam.Thank you for helping them to choose

our college and we are so excited to work with each student.

신입생 오리엔테이션: 봄 학기 ( 3/24-3/27 )

카스캐디어 커뮤니티 칼리지는 봄학기에 새로운 국제학생들을 환영합니다.

중국, 한국, 일본, 인도네시아, 콜롬비아, 인디아, 사우디 아라비아, 베트남에서 약 25명의 국제학생들의 입학하였습니다. 학생들이 저희 카스캐디어 커뮤니티 칼리지를 선택할 수 있도록 도움을 주셔서 감사합니다. 저희는 각각의 학생들과 함께 할 수 있음을 매우 기쁘게 생각합니다.

캐스캐디아 커뮤니티컬리지는 시애틀 중심가에서 불과 25분 거리에 떨어진 보텔이라는 지역에 위

치한 워싱턴 주에서 가장 최근 설립된 공립대학이랍니다. 본교 옆에 University of Washington

Bothell(UWB) 캠퍼스가 있어 도서관을 중심으로 두 대학이 캠퍼스를 공유하고 있지요~

UWB와 같은 캠퍼스를 쓰다보니 아무래도 많은 학생들이 UWB로 편입을 하고 있으며 편입생
중에 60% 이상이 유덥을 가고 있고, 그 학생중에 또 60% 정도가 워싱턴대학(University of

Washington, Seattle 본교, 메인캠퍼스임)를 진학하고 있답니다. ㅋㅋ

다른 학교와 비교해서 지어진 지 별로 안된 학교이기 때문에 캠퍼스가 깨끗하고 또 국제학생비율

도 다른 학교에 비해서 매우 적어서 미국 학생들과 함께 학업에 집중하기 좋답니다.
